Wrestlers Protest: Cricketers scared! After Vinesh Phogat's statement

Indian wrestlers have started a protest against the President of the Indian Wrestling Federation, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi. Singh has been accused of sexual harassment by a female wrestler. As the protest gained support from all levels, some former Indian cricketers also joined in, but one cricketer's reaction has sparked controversy.

Meanwhile, Indian cricketers have been criticized for their reaction to this issue. Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag made a controversial statement about the case, which led to other cricketers such as Kapil Dev, Harbhajan Singh, and Irfan Pathan voicing their support for the wrestlers.

Virender Sehwag had made a comment that was interpreted as insensitive towards the protesting wrestlers. Some former cricketers like Kapil Dev, Harbhajan Singh, and Irfan Pathan, however, showed their support for the wrestlers.

Harbhajan tweeted, "Sakshi Malik and Vinesh Phogat are the pride of India. It's disheartening to see athletes protesting on the streets for justice. I pray they get justice soon."

Irfan Pathan tweeted, "Indian athletes aren't just glorious for winning medals, but also for standing up for their rights.
